eBay My World: teh-funnay( 1793)

I pride myself on customer service. I believe in the golden rule of -Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you-. I like to pay for my items immediatly, fair shipping costs, fast shipping and open communication with understanding.

I started selling as a coincidence. I was in the market for a Canon A1 Camera and thought -why not try E-Bay?- I found a listing for a Camera with lenses. Now, I didn't need any more lenses, but I thought I might be able to sell them and just keep the camera body. That is exactly what I did and now it has snowballed into a nice little supplimental income. At first I would buy camera lots off of ebay and split them up. I was actually doubling my money. I then started to buy camera lenses for repair. I would recondition them and resell them for a nice little profit, but now that my daughters are teenagers I no longer have the time for such a pursuit. As a trade assistant I have access to unlimited inventory at no cost to me, which makes selling so much easier. I have a breif history in Real Estate which gives me an edge to selling on E-Bay. I understand the importance of image and market research and how it will affect the overal prices of certain items.

I use Pay Pal as my primary source of payments. With Pay Pal I can accept Credit Card payments which opens the entire world as my market. I also will accept Money orders and Personal Checks. I hold all personal check shipments until the check clears of course.

I pride myself on FAST shipping. I am lucky enough to live near the airport where there is a USPS branch open until 11:30pm seven days a week. I will ship with in 24 hours of confirmed payment, and there have been times where I have shipped items one hour after auction end, when the winner has paid instantly with pay pal. I use Priority, First Class and Media Mail where applicable. I do NOT ship Parcel Post unless requested too. I will ship to any where in the world. I can also deliver via UPS, DHL and Fed Ex if requested too, but those facilities are closed by 8:30pm and that is why prefer USPS. I use bubble wrap for EVERYTHING, and most small objects are packaged in 4x4x4 boxes and NOT Cushoned Envelopes. I package all items in a manner that I would like to receive them in, if I had been the purchaser. I also contact EVERY buyer to let them know that their item is on the way and since I now print labels on line, each item will have a delivery confirmation number.

My return policy is based on fairness. I do my best to describe all items I sell, with words and pictures, but on the rare occasion I may miss something, I will galdly accept a return. When the item gets back to me I refund the entire payment including the original shipping cost.

As a seller I will leave feedback once payment has cleared. I usually leave feedback at the time I contact a buyer to let them know I have just shipped their item. I don't believe in waiting for a buyer to leave feedback first. Of course I hope that a Buyer will do me the courtesy of leaving feedback when they have received their item, and if there is any problem, that they contact me to try and resolve the issue before leaving a negative.
