All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I have a fabulous daughter who loves dolls as much as I do. We love to collect doll stuff. I was a doll dealer for many years before she was born. I am also very proud that I finally finished college after 31 years... go UCLA!

Eclectic Collector
I like too many things to settle for just one niche. This habit is not necessarily good for business, but it is good for my soul.
Business InformationHistory/background
Born in San Francisco 50 years ago. I've lived all over the San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles too. I had a daughter nine years ago and we now live happily in Santa Clara. I hope to travel abroad more in the coming years. I love Europe, especially London and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Shakespeare is my hero. I have begun to sew for dolls again, and hope to have a secondary home-based business for dolls and books. Having a home-based business will give me more time with my little girl because she is just growing up too fast. Support small businesses like mine!

Professional Sewing for 18-inch Dolls
I began sewing when I was six. I made my first cloth doll, and I still have her. Like most girls my age I took home economics in 8th grade, and the girl scouts, where I learned to sew clothing for myself. I had been involved in making porcelain dolls, when I discovered American Girl in the late 80's. Since then I have been involved in some way making clothing, selling books and accessories for these dolls. I mainly worked the doll show circuit in California. With the advent of the Internet, dolls shows have become scaled down, and many dealers have retired. I too stopped working while my daughter was little, but I am back now. My doll clothes and accessories are guaranteed to please any child or collector. I make my clothing for dolls like I do for myself. I use interfacing, make buttonholes, and I serge my seams when applicable. I make these clothes to last for generations.
Books, Books, Books
I love books. I was an literature major in college, so I read alot. I have started selling some of our collection on eBay and Half.com. The greatest gift we can give our children is a love of reading. I plan on doing this one book at a time. I recently became the library assistant at a local elementary school. I love being with the kids, reading, and recommending books. I'm not in love with all the shelving, but it's a vital part of the job.
