Fun romance/action flik - Nice special edition DVD
This is the first Salman Khan/Bollywood movie I've seen, but I liked it immediately. The characters are central to the movie, it has catchy musical sequences, rich colors and cinematography, and edge-of-your seat action and stunts. I'm glad the DVD has cool extras (song jukebox, making of's) - I just wish they were translated for us poor monolinguists! This movies is definitely worth a rewatch - I liked it even more and caught more plot nuances on the second viewing. All in all, I was very satisfied with the film and the presentation of the DVD. Now I'm going to check out more of his hit movies; there may be more favorite gems I didn't know I was missing!

Good book to browse again and again! :)
I love photography, Rob Morrow, NoEx, and behind-the-scenes peeks - so this is the perfect book for anyone who feels the same! There are 2 or 3 B&W photos per page and each has a caption written by Morrow. Just on my first flip through it felt like I had gotten to visit the set and glimpse the real people behind this quirky lovable show. A nice little gem!!

Compelling page turner about love and adoption
This is a touching journey of a father meeting and raising an adopted son. It is funny, charming, and honest. This makes a good read on its own or makes a perfect companion piece to the movie. Gerrold is always great at getting right to the heart of matter and this autobiographical novel is no exception. He really expresses all the joys and hurdles in this relationship. The only complaint I could possibly have is that it could have been longer; I would have read it at twice the length!
