All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I became a born again Christian when I was 18 years old. As I reflect on my life, I see how God has always been there for me. I give God the credit for also saving me physically several times including my victory over severe breast cancer in 1992/93.

Random Acts of Kindness
I have a strong faith in God and as He leads me I give individuals gifts. Sometimes I know the person and sometimes I don't. It may be something small like paying for a person's toll or meal at a restaurant. Sometimes I am led to give very large tips to waitresses that may be almost as much as the bill. It may be toys or on a few occasions, I have given 7 day trips to a resort. I have also given some items that were mine and I dearly loved them but God led me to give them to individuals that were in more need of the items than I was. We don't have much materially because we are both disabled. My husband has disabilities from his service in the Coast Guard and from serving in Viet Nam. One thing I have learned from God is that love and sharing are very important. I would have a hard time living with myself if I was led to do something and did not obey. The rewards are overwhelming. God feels me with joy and confirms that I have followed His will. My treasures are in Heaven.
Business InformationHistory/background
I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. I have also taken several graduate level courses. I worked for approximately 17 years with governmental agencies and specialized in budgets, reimbursement systems, and writing policies and procedures. I was also highly involved with setting up a State organization in Virginia and served as its first chairperson; functioned as Conference Chairperson for a National organization in 1985; spoke at conferences at the local, state and national levels from 1981 to 1991; and participated in a state-wide consortium for the development of management information systems.
After fighting for my life when I had breast cancer, I became a full time mom when my children were 2 and 4. Fortunately, this allowed me to home school my children for several years. In order to offset tuition for home school co-ops, I taught several courses over a number of years. We work out of our home, so we can be with my 87 year old mom.
