It all started over 400 years ago...
Dutch Settlers and African Tribesmen sun dried strips of meat during their treks across the African Subcontinent, as a means of preserving their food. It allowed them to carry ready-to-eat food with them, resulting in one of the earliest convenience foods on record. Biltong flavored dried beef (similar to Jerky) is produced to the highest standards from the finest cuts of beef, here in the USA. We use our own secret blend of spices, herbs and seasonings.
