I love unique things, I really do not collect anything in particular, I have a lot of Charleston Prints, Jim Booth, anything rainbow row, I have a signed picture from Phillip Simmons who is a 99(I think)year old blacksmith who designed beautiful iron gates in downtown Charleston, SC. I have an iron plant hanger also signed by him that I would never part with. I love the baskets made in downtown Charleston, I only have 1 of them, but if I could afford them, I would have more. I love things that remind me of the wonderful town that I was born. And Yes I was born and raised in Charleston, SC. I am a true G.R.I.T.

To Kill a Mockingbird, The Life You've always wanted by John Ortberg. I love reading to my daughter and I found this wonderful book that I love to read to her called The Scroobious Pip. A few other of my favorite children's books are: Where the Sidewalk ends, its a book of poems, I promise I'll find you. I Love reading the Bible and one of my favorite verses is Proverbs 31:10-31. It is a guide to being Superwoman, which all of us SAHM's really strive for.

I truly believe that we should all treat others the way we want to be treated. We have had many struggles, My husband battled Testicular cancer,Leukimia,broken tibia and fibia of his leg, surgery to fix his broken leg and all of that has been within the past 4 years. Financial difficulties, the same things a lot of other people are struggling with. We are so BLESSED! My husband is alive, we still have our home, we have a Beautiful daughter that makes us laugh everday, we have the most amazing family and friends. We are all Fellow strugglers and we should always keep that in mind.
