I am a full time college student working to obtain a Master's Degree in Psychology. I am hopeful that I can take my difficult times and past experiences and find the good in them so that I can help others.

My first love is candle making, but I also make soaps, jewelry, perfumes, body sugar scrubs & bath salts, etc.

I started a small home business 5 years ago after retiring from my public job to be at home so that I could care for my daughter who is disabled. I sell many different hand-crafted items made by myself, my daughter, mother, and sister. I sell on the internet, in gift shops and at over 12 arts and crafts shows throughout the year. It is very rewarding and fun! Most of my employment years were spent in retail management. I enjoyed it greatly, but I want to pursue a career that allows me to help others after graduation. Hopefully, I will sell lots of candles before the year 2014 so that I can pay off my gazillion dollar college loan debt. LOL! : )
