3 years ago, I was out looking for lures in our local stores. And what I realized, was that there were two types of stores available to me. The first was the general type of store, where you can buy milk, underwear, and yes, fishing lures. The second was fishing specialty stores, with great product, and unbelievable high prices. I came out of the experience, thinking that there were probably a lot of guys like me, who wanted some variety in their lures and tackle, and really didn't want to spend a lot of money. So lo and behold, Thefishingnut was born. I spent some time trying to decide if I would resell other products, but decided to create my own brand - Thefishingnut - and develop my own product lines. You see on eBay and my web site, the first generation of products, and by early June, the second generation of products will be available.

I've found Paypal to be the best payment method for eBay and eCommerce. By using online tracking, and linking eBay and Paypal payments together, everyone has invoices, electronic tracking, and when shipments are sent over the border, there is a document trail customs can't challenge. Reluctantly, I'll take Money Orders, which can be a problem for me, because some I can't cash in Canada and they hang around my desk until the next time I go to the U.S.. But if you really, really don't want to use Paypal, send me an e-mail and we'll see what we can work out.

I use Canada Post for my shipping, and they connect with U.S. Postal Service when a parcel goes over the border. Air Small Packet for U.S. orders is used for smaller orders, with larger orders going by land parcel. If you'd like an extra fast service, drop me a line and for an extra charge, you can get it extra fast. For Canadian shipping, I use Canada Post Expedited Parcel. I just charge flat rate shipping, because it makes it easier for my customers.

If you are not happy with your purchase, we will give you a refund less all shipping costs, this includes outgoing and incoming mailing costs. We will give your refund after we receive your return item, to your Paypal account.
