NEW Dell PN557W Bluetooth Active Stylus Pen W55CJ Genuine OEM

Works great, but batteries are hard to come by
It works great, but finding good AAAA batteries is tough, and the button cell batteries it needs are no longer made. Additionally, Linux support for the extra Bluetooth features does not exist.

Simple and easy to use, great quality, but buy a lot of batteries!
Being a casual person who used to take pictures every now and then, I have found joy in the Flip camera. It does not have many features in the device itself, but it also doesn't need it. It can turn on, record, play back, remove unwanted videos, and zoom in and out. For someone who wants something simple and requires no knowledge on how to operate a video camera, look no further than the Flip. Having owned the previous original Flip, the biggest complaint I have is the lack of rechargeable batteries. The original Flip had a battery built in and could recharge over USB. The newer Flip HD operates on two AA batteries, and you better make sure to buy a 16 pack of them because you will go by them fast if you like to record long videos. While you are limited to recording only up to an hour total of videos before you need to dump them to a computer, you might as well be limited by the batteries themselves for an hour. The built in software makes backing up the videos very easy. It also has a built in video editor much like Windows Movie Maker, but I haven't messed with it (because I already like WMM and Adobe Premier). You can also upload to Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. Ultimately, this is a very good digital camera for a normal home user, but the normal home user may want to invest in the rechargeable batteries that should have been included in the first place.

Simple and great for Artists, Business Individuals, and the Home User!
Having purchased the upgraded cousin of this model (look for the Motion C5v), this Motion C5 has now taken a nice retirement of healthcare work to making artwork and helping act as a rather useful portable register for conventions (thanks to the rather handy Barcode scanner). Even if you aren't into artwork, the touch screen interface (usable only by stylus, mind you) makes entertainment and web browsing a joy. The handle on the C5 may make it seem more like a briefcase, but it won't weigh as much as one. The Motion C5 is very light, even with the battery inserted. The design of the C5 is very easy to grip and hold in any position so artists can easily get in the brush strokes they need and the barcode scanner can be aimed to where it needs to be. As for the home user, this makes carrying around very convenient. The screen is durable and clear. Unlike traditional laptop screens, the screen of the Motion C5 compares to that of a standard tablet but with much better scratch resistance. These tablet PCs were designed to be in the medical field and these screens can take quite a beating and continue to work (try that with a standard laptop). Combined with the stylus, the C5 can handle every task you throw at it and respond just as quickly. With the thumb-scanner, you can enable log-in by scanning a finger with the provided software. The software also includes navigation support where the scanner can be used move your mouse or act as a scroll wheel, but with the stylus and navigation buttons above, that is mostly pointless. As for the navigation buttons located in the upper right, they can be customized to do whatever you need as useful shortcuts. These shortcuts default to the arrow keys on a keyboard and simple links to the Motion C5 Dashboard and various other options. The camera is not much to talk about, but it is simple to just state 'it is just there.' The light that comes with the C5 is not very powerful and the quality of the webcam is not very good in normal room settings. If you are looking for using this for Skype, look for the Motion C5v, which also has a forward facing web camera and works very well. Conveniently, the camera shortcut button on the side makes taking pictures very easy if it does get used. If you are lucky to get the docking station for the C5 (which if you are installing a new operating system to it, you WILL need it), you will find it to be very handy other than just to add 3 USB ports to the system. The dock has a conveniently placed eject button and also can adjust the angle the C5 is at. In addition to being able to charge another battery at the same time, the docking station is very sturdy and will make recharging the already long lasting C5 easier than it should be. Overall, the C5 was built with the medical field in mind, but if Motion Computing ever wanted to explore outside the medical market, their Motion C5 can easily find itself welcome in the homes of almost any user. With the Walcom driver driven touchscreen interface and stylus, artists who don't want to spend an arm and a leg for a Cintiq can get a more functional version for much cheaper. Individuals who want to be able to conduct small business can make use of the easy to use barcode-scanner to scan items and use POS applications. Home users will like enjoy the touchscreen interface and easy to use shortcuts. The Motion C5 has a little bit of everything for everyone and is cheap enough to make it a good alternative to a normal tablet.
