Victorian Bonnets and Hats Of the 1800s
The ladies of the day always wore head coverings. My specialty is the bonnet but I have made many special order hats for that time period. I love doing it and I hope it shows in my hand work and originality.
Business InformationHistory/background
I have spent many hours reading about the head pieces of that time. I has proven not only educational but very interesting. So glad I didnt live in those times. The ladies really suffered in the quest for the smallest waist and actually disfiqured many a women. Believe it or not, there is a man and woman who live in this day. She and he BOTH wear corsets and have managed to look as though they might break at the waist if they bend over. WEIRD :-)
