For normal bike parts, USPS Priority Mail and Parcel Post shipping is best. Rates are cheaper, and shipping is prompt. Priority Mail packaging, as provided by USPS, also lowers handling charges.

No one likes handling charges, but sometimes they are necessary. For most items there is no handling charge. Even for multiple combined items. However, some bike parts require special packaging and boxes and bubble wrap are not cheap. For those items a small fee for materials is added to the shipping cost.
