Greetings from America's Heartland, Grand Island, Nebraska, which is about as close to dead-center in the USA as you can get! My name is Brent Hockman and I've been in the antiques and collectibles trade professionally since 1990.

I sell authentic autographed materials (all categories - entertainment, political, military, literary, etc. - with emphasis on vintage entertainment and science fiction) on eBay under the seller ID of www.playitagainautographs.com. I also sell a broad range of antiques and collectibles (vintage woodworking tools, estate jewelry, rare/out-of-print books, classic toys and more) under the eBay seller ID of hockmanantiques.

I'm always interested in acquiring choice items and/or entire collections of authentic autographed materials and vintage woodworking tools. I also have a weakness for signed/marked original Arts & Crafts period furniture (Stickley, Limbert, Greene & Greene, Roycroft).

My personal collections focus on entertainment autographs, vintage woodworking tools and Arts & Crafts furniture.

After many years as a collector, I entered the antiques and collectibles market professionally in 1990, dealing in estate jewelry and antique firearms. My background as an autograph collector and history buff served me well when I learned the professional side of the autograph trade at a respected retail gallery beginning in 1993. In 1995 I left that gallery and opened Brent Hockman Autographs & Antiques. Over the years I have assisted in the creation of one of the first professional autograph dealers associations and have offered my antiques & collectibles knowledge to several charity fundraising appraisal fairs. I pride myself on being a knowledgeable, ethical, professional who always puts my client's needs and wants ahead of my own profit motive.

On eBay, I accept payment by Paypal, US Cashier's Check or US Money Orders.

I generally ship smaller items via USPS and larger/higher value items via UPS or Fedex. Upon receipt of full payment, I try to promptly ship all orders out in batches on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Unless otherwise noted, all non-autographed materials offered on eBay are sold as is. All autographed materials include a certificate of authenticity (COA) with a lifetime guarantee. Due to the somewhat subjective nature of authenticating handwriting, I have adopted a strict policy regarding the authenticity of any item I have sold. First, my original COA must be accompany the item - each COA contains a miniature scan of the item for verification purposes. Next, both the customer and I must each choose a qualified autograph expert willing to review the item, and those two experts much agree on a third expert of their choosing. Once all three independent experts have given their opinions, the customer and I will abide by the majority opinion. If the item is determined to be not authentic, then any authentication fees shall be paid by Brent Hockman Autographs & Antiques - if the item's authenticity is confirmed, then any fees involved shall be paid by the customer
