Here's The Thing...
Had mine for a couple of months now, and noticed some things right away:
The graphic used to depict the gorillas face and chest, is way too dark on the black one. He needs a much lighter shade to contrast the base black. I wish they could send me a set of white face stickers to place over the dark grey face that is there now.
The magnets that keep him attached to the fridge are small and round and inside the bottom of the hand and his feet. They popped out immediately when I attached him to metal for the first time. No big deal though. A little super glue and that was fixed.
He does work great for opening bottles, and the best part is when you open the bottle the cap instantly attaches to his foot, so it doesn't go flying to the floor. The bummer is that the sharp edge of the bottle caps have peeled off the black paint on top of his foot. As a solution, I suggest a PVD painting process.
Yes, you can hang keys from his arm, but not if they are super heavy. When magnetized, he still wobbles from side to side, and as mentioned before the magnets are small and round, and not all that strong. He slides and will fall fairly easily.
He has a lanyard hole in his key holding arm, so you can use him as a key-chain charm.
The metal used is good. The item is sturdy and has a nice feel and weight.
Would I buy another? Yes, if they fix the graphic. That's the main feature of this item! Improve it please. Also, if the manufacturers read this and can send me replacement graphics in a white color, please contact me.
