Thumb Industries, Inc. is a non-profit organization and was founded in 1970 and provides job skills training in retail, janitorial, lawn and manufacturing services to individuals with vocational disabilities. The training provided is to help individuals become more independent. Since 1990, Thumb Industries, Inc. has also provided Employment Services to our clients. Services are provided to individuals living in Huron and Sanilac Counties.Thumb Industries, Inc. collaborates with Community Mental Health agencies, the State of Michigan, and local businesses to provide positive employment outcomes to individuals with barriers to employment.Thumb Industries, Inc. is a member of the Michigan Association of Rehabilitation Organizations (MARO), and is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accrediation for Rehabilitation Facilities) to ensure quality services to the people that we serve.

We prefer PayPal; but will accept money orders.

We only use calculated shipping. We do our best to choose the most inexpensive way to ship. We will use USPS Priority Mail, Parcel Post, or First Class Mail or UPS Ground, based on the best quote. Our auctions end on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, once payment is received we ship it immediately, however we do not operate Thursday through Sunday, so if we do not receive payment immediately (before the end of the day on Wednesday) then it will be shipped out immediately on Monday. We hope to expand our eBay selling to five days a week. Once the item is shipped it will take approximately 2-9 business days to arrive. We use all reused packing materials and if at all possible, reusable boxes. We take extra special care to pack all our items as safely as possible.

At this time there is no return policy in place. However, under special circumstances and good reason we will work with you if there is a problem with the item once it is received, but will expect the item to be returned before a refund would be considered and/or processed.

We carry a large selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, as well as miscellaneous household items. Thumb Industries Thrift Store truly has “Something for Everyone!” We are located 1 block west of the light in downtown Bad Axe, MI.Timeless Treasures Antiques and Collectibles is located in downtown Pt. Austin, Michigan. Individuals with vocational disabilities clean, restore valuable antiques, appraise items for our store and post items on E-Bay for sale to the public.
