The Legend of Zelda, for the NES, Review.
The Legend of Zelda is no doubt a masterpiece, with its large array of enemies, bosses, and very fun labyrinths (aka dungeons). The game is, to say the least, a lot of fun. It is one of the only games I've played where i did need to use the internet at some parts, but it's also one of the only games where i didn't feel like i was cheating, its just a very cryptic game at times. The over world is vast and colorful, and the music is very catchy. The dungeons are very dank dark and eerie which works out very well. The build up to the end is great with one final dungeon to end all dungeons, death mountain, the dungeon is so bad ass that it actually has "death" in the name. After returning peace to the vast land of Hyrule you find that you've been set out on a second quest, which doubles the play time of the game. The game also sports a built in save feature (which is also prominent in its sequel Zelda 2 Adventure of Link). If you enjoyed this game then you may want to try out Zelda a Link to the Past, another great Zelda game.
