The surfboard style wall-art started out as a souvenir type novelty item sold at beach resort stores. Each board is hand crafted with extreme attention to detail. The artist starts with a solid (not laminated) piece of naturally harvested white American pine wood, and then cuts and contours every board individually. This lengthy process is followed by careful analysis of wood grain lines, in order to achieve the perfect balance between nature and creative art when designing each board. Every board is ready to hang vertically unless specified. They are available in any color/motif combination imaginable and can be tailored to your specific desires. No two boards are ever alike. Each board is finished with a thick protective clear varnish on top to assure lasting protection of the artwork.
