Gotta Love It!
I've been trying to get this soundtrack for years. A Disney classic which has hit songs by awesome artists! As an adult, I truly enjoy most of Disney's movies and the soundtracks are always poignant and memorable, The Lion King is no exception. My children who are now tweens have little problem with asking to play any Disney soundtrack which is refreshingly reassuring. It's nice to know my tweens don't prefer listening to bad rap or other questionable lyrics and can admittedly enjoy wholesome Disney songs. Disney also hires the best artists to perform their music. Elton John's renditions on this soundtrack are excellent. Listening to the soundtrack makes me wish I could attend the Broadway musical version of this wonderful movie!

She's All That - Not for PreTeens!
I watched this with a group of 11 year old girls thinking it would be a cute pre-teen movie - OOPS! While conceptually it's a nice, wholesome high school love story with moral overtones (acceptance) with a GREAT dance sequence at the high school prom, the foul language is repeated many times and I found myself apologizing to the girls for every 3 and 4 letter word uttered. Additionally the pubic hair scene was NOT acceptable for preteens or young teens and created a uncomfortable situation in explaining exactly what was going on. So, while teens would enjoy the gross scenes and most likely overlook the bad language, it is not suitable for pre-teens.
