History/background
More than just a store, The Tin Ceiling is a new, non-profit business located in beautiful Park Rapids Minnesota which opened in June of 2008. We are part of the Hubbard county developmental achievement center, in partnership with The Bearly Used Thrift shop and Hubbard county recycling. We are so excited to have the opportunity to provide the community with an excellent selection of recycled unique items and collectables. The making of The Tin Ceiling is directly related to the generosity of the community of Park Rapids and surrounding areas for their donations.

Mission Statement One
To provide meaningful employment for people with mental health issues. Mental health problems should not be a barrier to success.

Mission Statement Two
Recycle - Reuse - Redo!!! Recycling makes sense. It is both economical and ecological. For green consumers, no activity has a more direct payoff to the environment. Problems from water and air pollution to lanfill overflow and the greenhouse effect...in other words, just about every environmental problem faced -- can be eased through recycling.
