I always choose the calculate shipping option, I guess those sellers with way over the top shipping prices has me traumatized! I always loved the calculating option as a buyer, it just seems fair. As far as insurance goes, if the item is fragile or pricey, I like to go ahead and add the insurance with the S&H. Also like to ship it within 1 business day after receiving payment but if payment is received after 3:00pm, on a Sunday or on a Holiday, then the item will be shipped the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. Also I tend to usually go with USPS since UPS prices are a bit high in my opinion.

I like to offer money-back refunds (minus S&H) within 7 days. Buyer pays return shipping and the item must be in the same condition as when I sent it and preferably in original packaging. I don't expect any returns though, I am confident in my detailed product descriptions and photos, but if it is not as described, I would love to refund your money. I am not responsible for any damages from shipping or any lost items. If insurance is not already included in the S&H price, (which I only use for fragile or pricey items) then you are responsible for purchasing it.
