Every year around Christmas we would host a Homemade Craft Day and my kids would invite friends. This gave parents time to shop without kids. It was fun, we would all tell our favorite holiday family tradition. Each year the kids would pick something new they wanted to learn to make. Some of the things we made were: candles, soap, Shrinky Dinks, wood crafts, and beaded jewelry. The kids had fun; I know the parents still have some of the gifts (they tell me). Now to Tiny Crafts...with my son on the brink of high school and my girls off to college, this left me with more time. More time, what to do now? Well I've been knitting and crocheting for too many years; and while I've made some awesome gifts, I wanted to learn something new. In comes...Machine Embroidery. Once I got it, I was hooked. So now a new craft to make gifts with and have I. I've been stitchin out burp clothes (expecting our first grandchild in summer), sweatshirts, tote bags, blankets, just about anything.
