If you are diabetic, one of the best web sites to start learning how to deal with it is at www.westonprice.org. An insightful book that is primarily about defeating diabetes is called The Schwarzbein Principle. Two excellent books with fantastic recipes are Eat Fat To Lost Weight by Dr. Mary Enig and Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon. Be careful of the drugs that traditional doctors prescribe. There are so many possible bad side effects it is incredible. An alternative means of dealing with Diabetes is with the Holisitc approach. My glucose reading at my first physical was 259. That was after fasting for 14 hours. A month ago I had bloodwork done again and after a 14 hour fasting it was 97. If you are diabetic or think that you may be, I would be glad to share my experience with diabetes with you.
