When my husband died in 1998, he was well on the way to his goal of having 'the most toys'. It took me quite a while to even look at them, longer to catalog everything,and even longer to decide to sell them. I would like to say that I want these toys to go to a home where they will be appreciated, which is true. As a full-time caretaker for elderly parents, though, I need the money. I do hope my buyers enjoy these toys as much as he did. He also had a life-long interest in Science Fiction and amassed a collection of about 5000 books along with Astoundings/Analogs going back to 1934. I'll be selling those as I run out of toys. My husband loved going to auctions. When he wasn't buying toys or books, he was buying anything that caught his eye and seemed to be a good deal. There are still boxes and boxes of 'stuff' in the attic. I'll get to those as I have time, so I will be auctioning some glassware, tools, and who knows what else.

I take PayPal, money orders (US Postal Money Orders preferred), and personal checks. Personal checks will be held for about 10 days before the item is shipped. If the check doesn't clear, my bank charges me $27, so I will bill that to the bad check writer.

I usually ship NEXT DAY after payment clears, M-F. I am happy to combine shipments. I offer a selection of postal options, but I recommend Priority Mail for shipments in the US. Parcel Post is still available in the US, but it's usually only a dime less than Priority. I will ship worldwide. I regret that the old cheap snail mail, International Parcel Post, has been eliminated by our friends at USPS. Now the most economical method of shipment outside the US is First Class International mail. For International Shipments, please don't ask me to falsify customs documents and invoices. I can't do it, and it makes me feel bad to have to say no. I pack everything VERY CAREFULLY, using sturdy boxes, lots of foam peanuts, and lots of tape. Consequently, I charge $1.60 for handling, which pays for supplies and delivery confirmation. When the item ships, the buyer will receive an e-mail with the shipment number, which can be tracked at http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.h

I have a 100% satisfaction policy. If you are not satisfied for any reason with the purchase, it can be returned for full credit. Prior authorization and proper packaging is required for any return. If the return is my fault (I didn't describe the item properly, a hidden flaw was discovered, it broke in shipment,etc.) I will pay the return freight. If you just changed your mind, you can pay the return freight. I think that's fair.

I work on Ebay-ing on weekends and at night (Eastern time). I always check my e-Bay messages, so that is the best way to reach me.

I have cats. I just can't promise I won't ship a cat hair as an 'extra' in the package. I try to keep them out of my packaging materials, but its not easy. Boxes and packaging have an irresistible attraction for cats. I keep all wind-up toys and tinplates well-oil to prevent rust. If there is one cat hair floating in the room, it will land on the oil or on the packing tape. If cat hairs are a problem for you, please don't bid on my items.
