2 Port Hidden USB 3.0 HUB to Express Card ExpressCard 54mm Adapter US Warehouse

A good product to improve an old laptop!
If you're using this ExpressCard USB 3.0 Adapter with a USB drive or a wireless mouse/keyboard, it doesn't need the additional power. If you're using it to charge a phone or run an external drive, then you will have to connect the external USB power to an available USB port or an external USB charger. Other reviews had noted this, so it was not a surprise. The Product does provide increased data transfer rates (the primary reason I bought it). A large improvement over USB 2.0, but possibly not as fast as a true (built in) USB 3.0. Unit sticks out 1-2mm from the side of the laptop (Dell M6400). Not an issue for me, but this could be an issue for others.

A well-written read
After reading Ringo's other offerings (Council War, Legacy of the Aldenata) I was surprised to discover what a good modern military fiction writer he was. I understand the technology in this story is comparable to "Legacy of the Aldenata", but the overall story in "Ghost" less about general heroism than the internal mental war created by teaching a generally "good" individual to kill without (much) remorse. This story really drives home what many veterans (especially of "wet" work) probably have to deal with every day after coming home "for good". I hear a bit of "OMG! Less kinky sex please!", but the overall impression that Ringo gives is that if the protagonist _didn't_ engage in kinky sex, war/battle atrocities would soon follow. Overall well done. This story may not be for kinds, but it isn't for the faint of heart either.
