Why Antiques Are Great for The Planet
Buying antique and vintage items is the ultimate form of recycling; reducing waste, consumption of resources, and carbon emissions. Older solid wood furniture does not out gas VOC's like new stuff made of particle board. It also lasts and adds instant chic to any surroundings. It is a misconception that antiques cannot be used in contemporary settings. Classic lines and finishes are never passe, plus antiques are an affordable, usable investment. Please re-use, re-cycle, refurbish, and re-purpose. Go green and buy a piece of the past!
