Turquoise Magpie became a reality from a laptop computer in a motor home. I spent a decade selling at music festivals and craft shows and when that phase of my life came to an end I decided to sell a few beads I had left over on eBay. Ok, I will tell the truth, I sold the bus and business and then kept buying beads because, well, I am a beadaholic. So I found myself with great deals on beads and I decided to sell them off. Little did I know how much people would not only love my beads but also how they really needed a source they could trust. I ship my beads out fast, I answer questions promptly, I have great prices, and I had beads that could not be found at the regular on-line bead stores. A niche was filled and people supported me. Turquoise Magpie was born in early 2005 and I am grateful and in awe of the wonderful people I have met as a seller and filled with happiness to be able to find them what they need at prices that are great.

Shipping is easy with Turquoise Magpie. Free Shipping - If you buy an item that says free shipping then that item and as many items as you want to buy are shipped free in the United States and Canada. Combined Free Shipping - Check the listing to see what shipping offer is currently available. It is usually free shipping on orders over $100 but sometimes I run shipping specials at lower amounts. I will ship orders under 13 oz First Class for $3.50, and over 13 oz for $5 Priority. Ask me to invoice you to give you the shipping options. Overseas - Flat rate shipping is $13.00 and you can get a lot of beads into a flat rate envelope. Small orders can be shipped First Class for $6. If you buy an item that states free shipping you get a $3 credit. If you buy more than the free shipping rate you get $5 off shipping. If you buy so many beads that I have to put it in a flat rate box with insurance then I will email you with the actual cost minus $5 shipping deduction.

Auctions are not returnable, nor are close outs. That is to keep prices down. Many auctions are a break even situation. Store items are fully refundable. Please just email first to get a return number and then I will take care of any concerns.

I like to find that special deal and that unusual bead to sell to other artists and keep a few for myself to play with. I want to sell to the small designer at a price where they can buy one strand of many things at prices where they would have to buy multiples from other suppliers. I am able to do so by being independent. I keep my overhead low. I also focus on customer service. I have been known to break open strands of beads just to make sure a wire fits in the hole, sort through a bag of pendants to get the darkest one, and so on. When you have a vision I will help you get there. I have a working relationship with a factory that will custom make beads I want. If you have a need for a certain shape or stone I can work with you to make it a reality. This is great for that strand of beads from the latest bead show that no one seems to have anymore. Orders like this have to be made in multiples.
