My academic background includes an M.A. plus (all but dissertation!) from the Institute of Fine Arts, a department of New York University. I focused on Byzantine and Russian Art. I was also an intern and (2x) research asst. at Met Museum of Art

I am holding off on buying! I currently have the likes of an antique store in my office. However, for my personal collection I am interested in more Rookewood ceramics (I have one vase, that is not for sale!) and other items of the Arts and Crafts period.

I seem to inhale both good novels and movies and later forget their names!

Paul McCartney will always be my absolute favorite (call me if you see this!), The Beatles, Classic Rock, generally (which, I believe is not necessarily restricted to the late 60's and 70's): Jethro Tull, Led Zepellin, The Rolling Stones, Mozart, Beethoven, Medieval and Renaissance music, Baroque music, Byzantine and Slavonic Church Chant...

I watch movies on television or mini-series, mostly! Used to be an avid E.R and West Wing fan. PBS stuff, The Sopranos ...

Dislike: arrogant persons, insensitivity, selfishness, dishonesty, self-righteousness,pretentiousness(if I notice any such traits in myself I very much dislike it!!!)CRUELTY to anyone, but ESPECIALLY ANIMALS!!!Lack of stewardship towards the environment!!! Likes: watching dolphins in the ocean, loving persons, unpretentious and sincere persons, lack of greed, looking at a rainbow, baby animals, finding a bird's nest, liking when one of my drawings or watercolors comes out just right, spirituality and much more, CARPE DIEM!!!

I ship within 48 hours of Final Bid; 72 hours if Final Bid ends on a Sunday. I can expedite this, if necessary. Shipping is usually through USPS 2 day priority mail, or Express Mail. (International shipping will vary) DHL or FedEx can be utilized at wish and payment of Final Bidder. Domestically, in the US I usually strongly recommend insurance.
