All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1997. Back then we were all collectors and antique nuts looking to connect. How things have changed. Although eBay is not the small community it used to be, we still are unique. I hope you enjoy my items!

Why I Do What I Do:
Nothing beats the feeling of finding something discarded or unwanted or less-than-perfect and recognizing its innate value. When this feeling is shared by someone else my day is complete. I'll never be able to fix everything, but when possible I re-unite people with a childhood memory or spark an interest in our history. The smallest item can sometimes lead to an amazing glimpse of the big picture.
Business InformationHistory/background
Born in 1950 in Detroit and lived my formative years in a small farming town. I went to U of M, joined the Army, then worked at both Ford Motor Company and General Motors. Through it all, I championed underdogs and lost causes. My love of antiques and estate sales and cooking and eating (!) became the golden thread winding through my life and connecting all things. Now I find myself in a house too large filled with too many things. eBay is the outlet I have used since 1996 to share my treasures and wanna-bees. We endure a love-hate relationship. eBay's phenomenal growth has brought pain and pleasure to all involved. If they ever conjoin with Google they will take over the world - LOL.
Payment policy
Paypal is my preferred method of payment. Personal checks are accepted only from buyers with at least one year of purchases through eBay. When paying for a single item click the 'Pay Now' button on your Winning Buyer Notification e-mail. Or go to you 'Items Won' column and make payment from there. When paying for multiple purchases or paying with check or money order [Postal greenies only] send me a request for invoice. I will figure the discounted shipping total and send you a combined invoice.
Shipping information
When payments are submitted incorrectly, it creates extra work for both parties. The seller may have to send extra e-mails, issue refunds, re-invoice for the correct amount, and spend time following up on the problem. The buyer may have to resubmit a payment, or may lose significant shipping discounts. Both parties may become dissatisfied with the transaction.
I use Paypal shipping for 99% of orders. This means most packages go out through the US post office. Larger items ship UPS. The heightened International security measures have increased paperwork and process time for my International people considerably. Unfortunately, I must add a handling charge to cover the added time and paperwork involved. I work hard to give you a 24 hour turn-around in shipping and appreciate receiving payment in a timely (read fast) fashion. I do not have a staff to help me keep track and can fall behind when payments lag. Insurance is encouraged and mandatory for items closing over $50.00
Return policy
I accept return for reasons other than buyer's remorse with prior authorization. Returned merchandise must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging within 7 days of delivery. For your protection, insurance is required on all returns.
Refunds will be issued for the amount of purchase only. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
