Rewarding but requires patiance and knowledge to set up.
3 of 3 found this helpful OK, so here is the deal: for the price these are pretty good cameras, HD and overall quality of the kit.
After installing all cameras my router was overwhelmed with wifi signals so I had to gradually adapt my house environment to the current needs. We have many other devices, ethernet and wireless both 2.4 and 5.0Ghz and the neighborhood is like a microwave too.
Where this product fails is the instructions provided. They are sort of universal instructions for variety of products and it's a given they'll mislead you at some point. The learning curve was steep for me and I am pretty handy with tech.
Biggest trouble I've had is to make changes to camera and NVR network settings once they are set the first time. For example once camera is set to main 2.4Ghz line on router it's a mystery how to switch it to EXT line and vice versa. Once paired they are set in stone looks like.
It's like the person who designed this system never communicated to people who market the product.
Be aware even though they are wireless so you'll still need to power them up with 110.
Overall I'm happy with this product.
