Hi my name is Dan. I moved to Florida in 2001. With the economy the way it is I was finding harder and harder to find work as a self employed contractor. My wife is totally disabled and is going thru numerous spinal surgeries and needs 24/7 care.

I buy just about anything I feel will sell on Ebay. I go to yard sales, estate sales, auctions, thrift stores, etc..

Fishing Lures, reels, rods. I have collected about 200 rods. I like the antique lures. There nothing like hearing the clicker on a good reel.

My family is the most important in my life. I have been blessed with 2 sons. One is disabled but that doesn’t stop me from treating him like he doesn’t have any disabilities so doesn’t feel different from other children of his age. My wife is my soul mate, Ebay has allowed me to take care of her as she is totally disabled from spinal injuries with numerous spinal surgeries and Lupus. I will do anything to make my family happy and feel secure. I teach my boys about Ebay and how to follow up with messages and treat every message like you would like to be treated and to go above and beyond to help others. Treat a customer like it is your own mother your responding to.

Customer Service is very important. Replying to every message in a fast timely manner. Treat everyone the way you would expect to be treated. Always respond to every question in a kind and positive attitude. Be grateful to others that send you messages about your item that gives you more information about your item and gain as much knowledge as possible. Study your merchandise and gain as much info as possible before listing an item.

I ship items about 3 times a week. I make sure your item is sucure in the box before I ship.

When insurance is purchased I can help the buyer turn in a claim with the local post office or put a claim on line with USPS or UPS depending on what service is used. It is highly recommended to purchase insurance on breakables and highly priced items. It is also recommended to purchase delivery confirmation, as that allows you to track your merchandise while in transit on line.

I always give the buyer the benefit of un paid items as I know sometimes you need a little extra time to pay. I will keep in touch with you via sending invoices. If no response from buyer after I send many invoices and messages I have to obey EBay’s policy and open an UN PAID ITEM CASE. Ebay will also try to contact the buyer on my behalf. If Ebay is unable to resolve the situation I would have to close the case file and an unpaid item strike could be placed on buyer. I hope this never has to get this far as life has walls and hurdles that can prevent a buyer from paying for item they won. I will always be patient with a buyer for pmt. The best way to take care of an item unpaid is with communication to the seller. Communication is very important to me so I can resolve any situation in a kind and friendly manner.
