The Great talent
I remember this singer from my young years - his songs were so good that they were translated into other languages. The artist is a very good composer and good singer. He is the reason for which his band - Cherwony Gitary was called a Polish Beatles. He was traveled with concerts in many countries and always with a great success. He spent few years in the US, but because there are not that many immigrants from Poland, financially he was not able to afford expansive life in US and was forced to leave... If you do not care that much about understanding the language (which I personally do not know) - this is your artist. If you'll listen to his songs, you'll agree that even when song is not a big hit, it's still not a waste, because of a nice voice of the singer.

Not the best but better then many rest
I lam not crazy about this group, because I prefer artists like Cutugno and Celentano, but still solid instrumental Rock.

Al Stewart - The Man for ALL SEASONS
I love this Singer/Composer, I think his songs is a rare combination of good music, smart words and nice voice. I like even the way he picks topics for his ballads - a lot of History and Philosophy, and not just common Love songs. The only thing where my opinion is different from common, that on the album The year of the cat my favorite song is not the title song, but another one about porter from a hotel. My other favorite songs on this album are: Lord Grenville, On the border, Midas Shadow, and if it does't come naturally leave it. On the second CD (On the border), I am sure like the title song, Year of the cat (which is good on both albums), Merlin's time, Flying Sorcery, A man for all Seasons, Pandora, Running Man (about a hiding Nazi criminal) Night train to Munich, If it does't come naturally, leave it; Life between the wars, Fields of France and the last one You should listen to Al. I am just a little upset that every one knows Rod Stewart, but unfortunately much less people know about Al Stewart. If this rewiew will bring up his popularity I will be glad.
