The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez (Criterion Collection) Like New DVD

Great Movie
This movie's screenplay closely follows the events surrounding Cortez' hunt by the Texas Rangers and hundreds of others, media coverage from this period and his trial. Great acting by all involved in this project. If you are ever visit San Antonio, Texas, a drive about 50 miles east of the big city will bring you out to Gonzales, Texas where Cortez was once jailed. The jail is now a museum and other local sites (Birth place of Texas Independence - Come and Take It -cannon) are well worth the visit.
