I do not accept checks of any kind, or PayPal funded by credit card. These terms are not negotiable. My PayPal transfers are free to accept by any free PayPal account. Otherwise, I will pay with a Wal-Mart money order in US$.
Shipping information
Since the buyer is paying for shipping and insurance, the seller is merely acting as the buyer's agent in delivering the item to the carrier. So if the package is damaged in transit, the buyer is responsible. The seller should provide as much assistance to the buyer as possible, including a written release of all authority to the buyer. But if the carrier insists on sending the settlement to the seller just because they consider him the shipper, the check should be remitted UNopened to the buyer. The seller should also document the condition of the item AND the package when submitting it to the carrier, in case the carrier challenges their conditions during a claim.
Return policy
If I'm selling it, I don't want it back. If you don't want it, don't agree to buy it by bidding. Buyer's remorse doesn't excuse breach of contract.

Feedback Policies
In my opinion, a SELLER should leave feedback as soon as payment arrives. The SELLER's feedback about the buyer should be based on only 2 things: 1) did the buyer follow the rules & intent of the eBay process, and 2) did the buyer remit payment within a reasonable time frame? There's no reason for a SELLER to base his feedback on a buyer's feedback or anything else.
As a BUYER, my feedback is based on much more: Is the listing easy to understand & comply with? Is the item accurately described in the listing? Is the full shipping policy explained? Are any unusual terms disclosed? Are the photos useful? Is the checkout process simple & quick? Is the item shipped quickly? Is it sent by a cost-effective carrier & service? Are valuable or delicate items insured? Is it tracked? Do I get notification? Is it packed well? Has the seller left feedback for me by the time the item arrives?

In any case, my feedback for others will be honest & objective. Not impulsive or inflammatory. If a seller never leaves feedback for me, I probably won't leave feedback either, but EVERYONE who leaves feedback has & will receive honest feedback. I always leave detailed seller ratings, and they're also honest & objective. Most get 4 stars since most are acceptable. Getting 5 from me will be difficult since there aren't many ways to be exceptional, especially in communication. I don't like exchanging a lot of e-mails to complete a purchase, so 'less is more'. I'm very harsh about shipping time, though, and I've given 5 stars there quite often for exceptionally fast shipping.
