All About Me

What everyone should know about me
I'm a Professional Truck Driver and a Motor Carrier Safety Director. I LOVE ships! I think I must have been born with sea water in my veins. I'm fascinated by ICE BREAKERS. Russia makes some of the Biggest and Baddest Ice Breakers in the world.

Machinery
I love to watch documentaries about machinery. The bigger the better. Tanks, APC's, Heavy military vehicles, like the HEMTT. Anything on ships. Ice Breakers are the Biggest Baddest ships on the water. Russia has several Nuclear Powered Ice Breakers, that still regularly travel to the North Pole. You may have noticed that my eBay name is a USCGC (United States Coast Guard Cutter), named Katmai Bay. Prior to 9/11, I was able to arrange for a tour of the Katmai Bay, when it was in Toledo, Ohio. I was able to bring along my Wife and my Brother and his Son. I did not serve in the USCG. My dream boat would be a Cape Horn Trawler. They're no longer in business, but there are plenty of used Cape Horn's floating around. Also, the same shipyard that built the Cape Horn's, is still in business and now build their own brand of Expedition Yachts. These yachts are exceptional. They're built like tanks. Self righting and no furniture flying around, if do go Tsunami surfing!

Book: Big Rigs (Hope Irvin Marston, Hardcover)
Not a big book, but some good shots of Big Rigs.
As a Professional Truck Driver, I enjoy any books about Big Rigs. This is not a big book, but it has some good shots of trucks. 48 pages, not numbered. Geared more towards the younger reader, it's still a ... read full review
