Thanks for reading my return policy. I accept returns within 7 days. Buyer pays shipping. Returns are accepted if the return is due to an error on the part of the seller.
Feedback
I am a new eBay seller, so of course I would like to receive feedback.
My policy is always to leave feedback.
The way I see it, you only have two obligations as a buyer:
1. Pay me promptly and
2. Give me a chance to fix anything wrong before leaving negative feedback.
I usually will leave feedback as soon as payment is received or before I ship the item. I am considering changing this so I can make sure that the buyer has had a chance to review the item and I can make sure they're satisfied, or if they're not, that we've worked the situation through.
Feedback is permanent and, just like you would with any brick and mortar store, I just hope that if there's something wrong, you will come to me first and let me try to make it right with you. This goes both ways...if you buy something from me and don't pay promptly, I will try to contact you and find out what's going on - I won't just ding you with a negative.
So, that said, thanks for buying from me!
Unpaid Item Strikes
I have not had to deal much with buyers who don't pay, so it's not a big deal for me. However, if neither payment nor communication is received from the buyer within 7 days, then I will file an unpaid item strike. I always try to contact the buyer and resolve the issue with them first. But understand that I pay fees when I sell items on eBay - both listing fees and final value fees. If you buy something from me and then do not pay for it, I still have to pay fees. I have a very tiny profit margin on most items, so if a buyer doesn't pay, I will need to file an unpaid item strike in order to recover my fees before I can list that item again. Thanks for understanding.
