NEW OLD SCHOOL CRITICAL MASS SS122 12" SUBWOOFER, VINTAGE, RARE, NOB, NIB
Mar 07, 2017
Critical mass ss112
Best, strictly sq sub on the planet. 500rms 2 ohm single coil neo magnet is the perfect combination for some of the finest bass ever produced to my ears. 20+ years experience in car audio. Dont believe me, and you wont ever know what your missing. 2nd purchased exact same sub, and my other c mass ss112 is in my truck now. Over 5 years old and still beating the fool out of it with no hiccups. Real talk. And Hopefully this review wil help me get my hands on a ul5000 on the cheap. Cause i reeeeaaaalllly want one bad. Critical mass subs are that good, some say their overrated, but those people who say that, are probably not blessed with the gift of absolute pitch like I was born with. Nuff said. Peace. DRock

Mesa/Boogie 12AT7 Special Reuirement Preamp Tube Tested
Jan 16, 2017
Mesa Boogie 12at7
Great tube. Theres always a ton of speculation weather or not Mesa makes good tubes. Granted Ive had a Mesa power tube fail on me before, but thats because i was improperly using them in a amplifier. But overall, u want to relax a part of your preamp a little bit, or run it as a reverb, loop efx, or as phase inverter tube, i would recommend this tube. Its a little bit of a colder gain tube but it still has that warmth and clarity of your running it as a preamp tube for tone.
Ampeg SVT-3 Pro

ampeg svt-3 review
As an owner of a few different ampeg heads and cabinets, to me, the svt-3 sounds pretty close to my 90s svt classic. I find the svt-3 to be perfect for a loud 5 piece band for rehersals, and small gigs. This svt-3 also includes without breaking the bank, and breaking your back while trasnporting it. And if 450w at 4 ohms of power is not enough for big gigs, you can always add a good quality power amp of any size, and still have one of the best ampeg preamps that will deliver that highly sought after, killer rock tones through any quality bass cabinet. I highly recommend the svt-3 as one of the best bang for buck amps on the market for years to come. Go test one out for yourself and youll see what im talking about. Cheers.
