I've been buying and selling antiques and collectibles for many years. I love old paper and unusual items. In 1998 I bought out the contents of an old printing shop that had bought greeting card blanks and calendars (to print), from art houses and publishing companies all over the USA. They had been in business from the turn of the century up till the 1960s. The owner went into politics and he just locked up the place and never went back. So all the contents just sat there until 1998 when I bought the greeting card contents and a friend bought the calendars. I am now responsible for the care and protection of these beautiful old cards. What a treat! These are all unused and they all come with envelopes. These are in perfect condition too because they haven't even been handled. My customers are always happy when they receive these cards and that makes my job such a pleasure. I sell these beautiful old cards and people are thrilled with them. They use them and also collect them.
