Does what it's suppose to do
I purchased it because my S&W 9MM shield was almost impossible to rack and at times difficult to reassemble after field strip. The product fixed both issues to my complete satisfaction. Unfortunately there is a BUT. after a session at the range I noticed that the LOADED indicator on the top of the slide was wobbling loosely. After further examination I noticed the back part of it had cracked off and the tiny spring was missing. I can't say if it was a coincident or caused by the new lighter steel guides spring that might allow the slide to slam back harder when firing. S&W is sending me (free of charge a new LOADED indicator and spring) and I will try it again because I really like the improvement this product delivered.
