So the first time I tried to use it I could not hold her straight BUT when she slid down on the floor today her caregiver and I were able to get her in the unit and raise her enough to get her in the hospital bed. The unit is a bit shorter than the lowest setting on the hospital bed but not the wheelchair. The unit was all white but no biggie. Nice to have for emergencies as it is well made.
