My Wife prior to December 2004 had nothing to do with a computer, and then she decided to go ahead and sell all of her Christian novels. Once she had gone through selling those, she was out hunting for more things to sell. We haven't stopped since.

It is our desire to only sell items that honor and glorify Our Lord Jesus. Gifts for the Home, is just that, items that complement the home and brings the family together. You will not find us selling things that do not complement a christian family atmospheres such as video games, and movies. We do sell childrens books, christian books, and items that might complement your home whether it be a Christmas Ornament, or kitchen items.

Our favorite book has been read by more people and more languages than any other book, it is the Living Word of God, the Bible.

We stay away from the movies produced by Holywood, and once in a great while watch a christian film, with a spiritual message.

Our Favorite music is the old gospel hymns, whether they be sung at church or Listening to them via VCY America, an ORGanization, a wonderful radio station that we listen to while we hunt for bargains for our customers.

We have no time for TV, and have done very well witout one for over 20yrs. Our two daughter have done well witout it too! They worked hard to pay off their school bills, and the Lord has blessed our family for it. They both have a desire to serve the Lord as missionaries. Our oldest is a teacher at a christian school, while the youngest has graduated as a RN and is working now as a nurse at a local hospital.

Again Gifts for the Home is a home based business started by my wife a teacher for nearly 20 years and in December 2004 while selling Christian novels. We have not stopped selling since then. My wife keeps finding bargains for our customers to buy. Whether it be games, puzzles, christian books, cookbooks, kitchen items, christmas ornaments, or any else that would complement the home.

We prefer that our customers use PayPal, it is the quickest with the fewest problems, we do accept Money Orders, but discourage the use of personal checks. I keep a record of all payments coming through in the mail. We wait for personal checks to clear before we send your item. For our Foreign customers; again, PayPal is preferred. Money Orders must be paid/purchased in USD. Personal checks in non USD, will be held until the correct payment method is made and mailed back to the customer with the item.

We try our best to mail out the same day or next day. Long hours sometimes get the best of me, and a few get mailed a little later. For our US customers; we use USPS as our shipper. With the new Postal rates, we are staying away from Priority mail and using Parcel Post, First Class (when we can), and Media Mail. If you have purchased mutiple items we combine them and try to save you money in shipping costs. When you have bought books and an item other than media mail classification, we will mail both items together as Parcel Post. I make my own boxes, or use recycled boxes. Handling is part of the shipping expense, but we try to keep cost down for you and us. We don't try to make a profit off of shipping. Please wait for us to send you an invoice with the correct shipping cost. We do not use the shipping calculator because it tends to be very high in S&H cost. For our Overseas customers; USPS does not offer Surface Parcel Post any longer, so everything goes out Priority Mail.

The US Postal Service has raised their prices, and nolonger offers Surface Parcel Post. A note especially to our Australian customers, be aware of the high cost of priority mail. Email us, so that we can let you know of the cost in advance.
