***** Enjoyable mystic journey *****
Beautiful Painted Arrow uses tales of Native American upbringing filled with ceremonies, visions, family teachings and universal insights to pass on tools for finding inner vision and personal understanding of ourselves and the universe. If you enjoy this book, I would highly recommend Being and Vibration, also by Joseph Rael. ^^^^^^^^^I would disgregard the above comment (the 1 out 5 rating). As the author of the above review mentioned nothing about the content of the book. I believe they are confused as to who the author of this book is. There is another man, called solely RAEL....whom I believe was referred to as "sold out to Playboy). That comment in no way pertains to Beautiful Painted Arrow. I also searched the American Indian Quarterly and found the ONE article that even mentions Joseph Rael. First of all, the article is an editorial (not objective) and reads like a freshman debate essay where the teacher told the student to choose any side and find points that support you argument. One fraction of a sentence from a line in Being in Vibration was used.....with which no point was made. Clearly the above poster was mistaken and either did not fully read the article in Am. Indian Quarterly or did not clearly remember or understand that the article represented no one but one voice of the author whom only ranted. In conclusion, This book is a nice intro into a world of native american mysticism and ceremony.
