First of all let me say I LOVE eBAY!!I have met the nicest people in the world thru eBay and have finally discovered my passion in life. I've always done it, I just wasn't sure what exactly was called.Treasurehunting,I've always been a treasurehunter

I sell a large variety of items from new to vintage or antique. I don't sell too many clothes unless I happen to run across an item I'm sure someone will just love!!I love to sell jewelry and books because I always come home with huge quanities of both. The books are usually ones I want to read but at this point I have so many I neeed to pass them on to others that will love them. The last time I moved, 23 years ago I had 17 cases of books so I know I probably have 3 or 4 times that many now.I love jewelry..the shinnier, the better, especially vintage pieces with the incredible workmanship put into their creation.Some of the more interesting items I've sold is a 1800's moon pie mold from China, an all leather aviator helmet with goggles, some beautiful Eisenburg Pins, a complete set of Halston Suede Luggage in mint condition, a beautiful new woman's golf bag, a vintage Thai mark and an altimeter from a small Cessna airplane. If it catches my eye as I walk by it will usually be an item

I like the older big band era music, Peggy Lee, Etta James, Michele Bu'Ble, Rod Stewart's Great American Songbook CD's, Barry Manilou and a few others.

I'm hooked on the Reality TV, American Idol, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Trading Spaces and While You Were Out. Most of the time though I watch HGTV.

I knew nothing about computers and even today am still a one finger typist. I really thought buying on the Internet was unsafe and it wouldn't really take off. But then again I thought MTV would fail, who wanted to watch a music video?Boy, was I wrong about MTV and the Internet. I started buying a few things from eBay sellers I thought I could trust and it wasn't too long before my mailman and UPS man were fighting for parking space. Then THE FATEFUL DAY......I got high speed internet. I was in deep then and started thinking I could learn to sell on eBay but just didn't have the confidence in myself. Then one Sunday ,in my local newspaper which I read from front to back , never missing a thing, was a little ad for classes at my local Community College to Learn to Buy and Sell on eBay.I called, registered and paid my fees but almost didn't go when classes started.But since I had already paid I decided I just HAD to go to the classes.........that was the beginning of a whole new life ...

I've been selling and buying on eBay since 2000. What started out as a once in a while thing which then became a hobby has now turned into a full time job I can work at home while raising my 4 year old grandson. We have fun and do it together, and I don't have to put him in daycare to support him. When he starts school next year my business will expand and be a full time venture. But for now , I am able to make some money, take him to Tee Ball, the park and pool and bandaid him up several times a day.I have a desktop computer but hopefully will get a laptop soon so I can work while I watch him play. Right now EVERYTHING I do is for my Matthew.

I prefer Paypal but will take United States Postal Money Orders only,I also am happy to accept personal checks with a five day hold if your feedback is over 25. I'm easy to work with so if you need another payment option please just ask.

I try to ship within 4 busineess days of receiving payment sometimes a day or 2 longer but then sometimes I ship within minutes of receiving payment, it really depends on how hectic the day has been.

Volunteerism, I have always been involved in volunteer work and hopefully have passed this passion on to many others along the way.I write original poetry, childrens books and funny stories. Not on a regular basis but when something strikes me as funny I just can't seem to let it go. I will soon be selling copies of my first book written and illustrated with my son 20 years ago titled,Larry the Lobster after hearing a funny story at a sea food dinner. I LOVE to read, it has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Last, but certainly not least, is being in or near the water. I feel alive in the water and one day hope to have a water paradise outside my bedroom window.
