I think I am a warm caring person. I love people and try to give respect to all. I enjoy ebay and the wonderful people I have met. Making a warm and cozy home for my husband and family has always been a priority to me. Roses warm my heart.

I used to sell a bit on ebay, however I gave it up but I do keep thinking I will return..just as soon as ...whatever. :)

Wow, whatever I can afford and whatever pulls me back time after time. Bidding is a ...well...it's gambling...and it's fun.

My hobbies are varied and many. I love to garden, cook, paint, play the piano, decorate, and make my home lovely and comfortable.

Out of Africa, anything by James Harriot, Historical novels of all kinds. I love the works of John Steinbeck!! Gone With the Wind is, of course, a favorite. I have many favorites and read them over many times.

Sense and Sensability, Gone with the Wind, Out of Africa and many more. I love to watch old classics also.

Goodness...I guess Seinfeld and any that make me laugh. I love the History Channel, Discovery channel, etc.

My name is Mona. I live in Southern California. I have seven children. Three boys and four girls. All grown and successful and happy. Thank heavens! I have 16 wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Normally, I am a happy, upbeat person. Ten years ago I lost my childhood sweetheart and husband of 43 years to cancer..suddenly. Four years later I met and married another wonderful man..and on March 26th of 2007 at 6:30 in the morning, I lost him to cancer as well. I am trying hard to stay centered. My youngest son needs me as he is a kidney patient and is scheduled for a kidney transplant. His sister is the doner and I am very proud of her as I think she is very brave. I am grateful to her but also frightened. I have a lot on my plate right now..and so does my wonderful family. Time heals and God is carrying us right now. Thank you for listening.
