To be sure your item arrives in the condition described we will not ship any book, domestic or international, via flat rate envelope. Larger items cannot be delivered to South Africa due to UPS Policy. Residents of China, Please notify us before bidding on any item as shipping rate is quite costly. Will ship International via UPS Worldwide if you pay the extra costs.

Any book may be returned in same condition within 7 days for a full refund minus shipping. If there was a problem with a description that we failed to explain, we will also pay for all shipping costs, both ways, with our sincere apologies. We do a volume business and occasionally let price-clipped jackets or remainder marked books out without explanation. In these and similar cases we pay all costs of returns. We want you to be satisfied with every purchase. If we make the mistake, we will refund 100% of what you paid and even reimburse you for 100% of your reasonable return postage costs. If you make the mistake, you pay only for the cost to return and twenty percent to restock.

The world’s best-selling author, Stephen King, accidentally coined the term flatsigned. King needed to differentiate whether he should sign only his name (flatsigned) or inscribe the book to an individual. In talking with his office, I found out that Mr. King incorrectly believed that this term was being used in the book-collecting world. At that time, it was not a term used in the industry. Frustratingly, there was no true distinctive term given to books inscribed to a previous owner or those signed on bookplates then stuck into a book versus those just signed by the author, or flatsigned. FlatSigned means HAND SIGNED by the author but not personalized as in To Billy and FlatSigned also can not be signed by the author on a sticker or bookplate, then put into a book. FlatSigned is almost always a better investment and far more desirable than a book that is personalized To Billy and is far better than being signed on a sticker.
