Black MacBook or A1181or 2,1 or MA701LL/A
Classic, no longer made Black MacBook.
It does show fingerprints, so if this bugs you, buy a "hard cover", which protects and resolves the finger print issue.
These aren't the newest processors, so some processor intensive programs are slow, or may not work at all, but you knew this already if your considering going to classic Black.
Very easy to work on/in.
HD and RAM a piece of cake to upgrade.
All Mac's can be over RAMed, this model can take 4 GB, but recognizes 3 GB, instead of the 2 GB that Apple says is the max(www.everymac.com)
Your buying a used machine, remember that when you want it to be "new" out of the box when you get it. Hopefully, the previous owner was anal and felt as you do about the machine.
I bought mine, because the last hardware update from Apple, didn't refresh there 13's as much as I had hoped, and I didn't want to be forced into getting a 15" for the horsepower I wanted, but at a much heftier price!
