I have been an avid rock hound since the early 70's. I visited my uncle in Colorado who set up a rock shop in his garage as a hobby. He taught me how to make cabs and I was hooked. He recently died and left me his whole collection of several tons.

Currently, I am going through buckets of material that has been in storage for the past 15 years. I have come across buckets of turquoise, quartz crystals, variscite, geodes, agates, jaspers, seashells, rhodonite, dino bone and poop, chrysocolla, copper materials, coral, and many other materials I cannot identify.

I am interested in buying bulk of unusual and exotic stones. My favorites are jaspers, rhodocrosite, malachite, and opal. I am also interested in expanding my equipment, getting bigger and better macines to work with.

I retired from a nursing career several years ago. When my uncle died, along with several tons of rock, I also inherited a 10 inch saw, a combo unit, and several tumblers. I am looking to upgrade to a 18-24 inch saw, obtain a large vibratory flat lap, and upgrade to a 6 wheel grinding/polishing unit.
