No favorites, I love them all!

My husband John and I turned into collectors and buyers several years ago when I was introduced to junking. I found that I loved all things that reminded me of my grandmother. This meant that I loved porcelain and linen, perfumes and sewing items. The list could go on forever. John loves collecting old signs, Tonkas, thermometers and old handtools. He restores handtools and is playing with the idea restoring Tonkas. Of course this lead to having to sell some of our treasures so we became licensed and started going to antique shows. It expanded to our being in two stores in two States. We have a get-away home in Smith Valley Nevada so travel there as much as we can. We also have our dog Max. He is the love of our life and keeps us busy. I love working on eBay and have met some wonderful people.

Our licensed business name is Castle By the Lake Collectibles which comes from the family name of von Seeburg Schoustin. My husband and I started the business many years ago after retiring from an insurance company for over 40 years. We are in two stores in two states, do about eight antique shows a year and I try to list on ebay daily
