Glass Terms
Cabochon: A domed gemstone; highly polished curved surface without faceting. Dichroic: Glass which has a thin metal film vaporized onto its surface; the glass transmits one color and reflects a different color. Pendant: An adornment that hangs from a piece of jewelry. Anneal: Slowly cooling the glass so that any strain created during the forming process may be released to make it stronger and more pliable.
