No, not vampires c'est Les Vampires
If you're looking for a "Vampire" flick this really isn't what you're going to be seeing. Yes there is a "vampire" scene, however it's a stage play(and not the kind from 'Interview with a Vampire'). What it is that you're going to see unfold is a silent serial of a French mob movie. What you get is a gradual unfolding, and forming of a story of corruption and power from several views; that of a reporter, and then rival mob families. It is superb. The investment into a story with 10 chapters to it provides a greater depth of character and motivation in the constant struggle to gain riches and power. I bought this because I do enjoy silent films, the style of acting in the constraints of a "silent" medium really bring out the best in actors(I believe). Now of course I also have a fascination with vampire flicks too, the intrigue of finding these components together made this simply a must-buy. The acting is very good and the filming itself is quite remarkable considering the technical issues that were present at that time.

Wii really is family fun
The Nintendo Wii is one of the few items wherein the whole family can get together and enterprise toward a true bonding experience. There are many games where you can play up to 4 people at a time, and have a very nice time playing simpler games. The simple games are perfect considering the age span for a typical family. Some of the disadvantages of it are that the Wiimotes tend to run down power-wise, typically when everyone is having a good time. There are also relatively few games that are aimed exclusively for families. The best games are the simple ones, but that can lead to a general boredom level in teenagers that isn't easily overcome. Overall I'd say that it is well worth the investment if your looking to have a good time playing simpler, user-interactive games; if however you're looking to play something more expansive then you'll want to look toward one of the other (typically more expensive) gaming systems i.e. x-box, PlayStation.
